How many scholarships Fulbright grant every year

In Fulbright 2016, total 181 people received Fulbright scholarships, who applied for Masters or PhD degree programs form Pakistan. But in 2017, total 150 people received this grant from both Masters and PhD programs. While in 2018, again approx. 150 people receive Fulbright Scholarships. Moreover in 2016, 99 women and 82 men received this scholarships from total of 181 scholarships. Students who received this scholarship, belonged to 40 different universities all over Pakistan. Each province was considered while granting the scholarships to applicants. Total of around $20 million was allocated for the scholarship including its management expenses.

Out of this, maximum contribution as towards private sector that included 74 scholarships, second academia that included 50 scholarships, 29 were allocated to fresh graduates, and the least numbers of scholarships 28 were allocated to public sector. In last year, the age of people who were selected for this scholarship were from 20 years to 42 years. These people were from different fields including engineering, health, education, social sciences, agriculture, environment, energy, water resources, fine arts, and many others.

Moreover, In 2017 the similar trend has been observed. Total 150 scholarships were allocated in different field of study throughout all provinces and areas of Pakistan.
